Hi Shintaro!
Moana also holds a special place in my heart, so you've come to the right place with your question! I'm always happy to help a fellow Guest wayfind their way through the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I have the fondest memories there with my daughter, and you will be in excellent hands as the Fairy Godmother's Apprentices are highly trained in making magic!
I can understand that choosing the perfect costume is a big part of the experience. There's nothing quite like stepping into the shoes and story of your favorite Disney role model. While I'm not able to guarantee what will be in stock from day to day, my
planDisney pal Melinda was in the parks as recently as last month and did spot the Moana 2 costume at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Guests are welcome to purchase costumes while renting, unfortunately, is not an option. I will toss a little pixie dust in the air and wish upon a star that it is in stock for your upcoming visit.
I realize you are traveling from Japan, so this may not be a feasible option, but I do see that the Moana 2 costumes are in stock online at the
Disney Store. If you are staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, they accept deliveries for Guests during their visit, which may help with the shipping timeline. When sending packages as a Guest, I'd recommend using the same name that appears on your hotel reservation and including your hotel confirmation number in the notes section. You could also check what's available at
World of Disney in Downtown Disney upon your arrival. My daughter has done the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique twice - once with the Castle Package, which includes a dress, and the second time with the Carriage Package, which is a pared-back offering without the dress. We brought our own Ariel dress from home, which she wore into the parks that day, and I have to say both experiences were equally magical!
Magical memories await, Shintaro! I hope this was helpful as you check off those last details for your visit. Once the royal transformation is complete, you'll want to capture the moment with a great photo in front of the castle. My favorite spot to do this is not directly in front, but instead along the path just to the right of the castle that takes you through Snow White's Grotto to Fantasyland. I'm always surprised how this spot remains so quiet! Since it's along the castle's moat, you'll be able to snap a photo without anyone walking behind you. Sunset is a beautiful time to snap this shot!
If you have any more questions, please feel free to stop by
planDisney anytime. We are happy to help.
Wishing you magic,
Tara
