My family and I will be attending Disneyworld from Dec. 22 - 27. What recommendations would you give me with a 6 day Hopper pass. I have heard about the crowds at Magic Kingdom on Christmas day but we are going to be there for the parade no matter what.

    Jason,

So Christmas day is going to be quite crowded. It is one of the few days of the year where crowds at the Magic Kingdom can get so large that the park can reach full capacity. That means they stop letting people in until some of the current crowd leaves. And no, it doesn't matter if you are a Disney resort guest, nobody is getting in.

Another thing you should know is that while there are parades that day, they are NOT the parade that you see on TV on Christmas morning. That parade is taped over several days earlier in the month. So don't go expecting to see celebrities and movie stars.

My recommendation is that if you are set on seeing a parade in the Magic Kingdom on Christmas day, arrive ready to stay for the entire day. If you get in, but then head back to your resort to rest in the afternoon, you may never get back in.

As for the other parks, they seldom reach full capacity. Since you have a park hopper you could visit the Magic Kingdom in the morning, and then move to one of those other parks for the second half of your day. Or you could go to those other parks for the whole day.

I hope that this helps? Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
