My family and I will be arriving to WDW October 19th , and I was wondering what the weather was like so I can pack accordingly.

    Danielle,

I will be there right about the same time, and from experience I can tell you that it is wonderful at that time of year.

According to the National Weather Service, the average temperature in October is 75 degrees. But what is more important are the average lows and highs, which show you how cool it can get at night (and thus let you know if you need a jacket or sweater when you are out in the evening) and how hot it gets in the middle of the day (letting you know if it is warm enough to go swimming or not).

For October the highs and lows are in the mid 80s and mid 60s. So swimming is definitely a daily opportunity, but a light jacket for evenings out might be nice item to pack as well.

One important addition. The rainy season in Orlando ends in September, so you should expect that rain, which will probably still visit your trip, but not be a major hindrance.

I hope that this helps? If you have any follow up questions, feel free to send them to me, your friendly Walt Disney World Moms Panel Weatherman!

    Have a magical vacation!
