My family is arriving on October 30, 2014. We bought tickets for the Halloween Celebration on 10/31/14. We.are looking for advice on making the best of this experience. We have never visited Disney this time of year. My son has a Ninja costume.

    Hi Stacy,

I'm so excited for your family to visit the Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time. It's so fun to see the Disney Parks with a holiday overlay. Your ninja is going to have a blast!

You're going to love spending Halloween at Disneyland Park with Mickey's Halloween Party! As in the dark tone of Scar from The Lion King, "be prepared" to see Disney villains throughout the evening. You'll also have the opportunity to Trick or Treat in Disneyland Park, enjoy the ghoulish "Halloween Screams" fireworks, and of course enjoy the holiday attraction overlay of The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain, and much more! Be sure to watch "Mickey's Costume Party" cavalcade because just prior to the parade the Frozen stars will appear to melt your hearts.

Make some time to visit Big Thunder Ranch and stop off for a Halloween craft time break and see a few Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes. It's a good time to relax while you watch the talents of pumpkin carvers.

The Character Dining Experiences are a great way to meet with your favorite Disney Characters! The Characters stop by your table to sign autographs, have a chat, and make special memories with your family! One of our family favorites is Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park. Reservations are recommended as Character Dining is high in demand, call (714) 781-DINE to ensure a table.

Remember, you may enter Disneyland Park three hours before the party starts using your Mickey's Halloween Party ticket.

I hope this helps and that you have a spook-tacular time. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask us, we're here to help you plan your magical vacation!

    Wishing you 999 Happy Haunts!
