Hello, my family will be arriving Jan 21, 2012 at a Disney resort. My question, I purchased the package that includes dining - 1 snack 1 quick serve 1 dining. But every resturant I look at is only excepting the deluxe or higher dining plan?? Please help.

Hi Kim! A Disney trip is a magical way to kick off a new year! You must be so excited!

Each year, when we transition from one Dining Plan to another, it takes the Walt Disney World website a little bit of time to update information on the participating restaurants. Last year, we saw this same problem with the pop-up boxes on each restaurant's webpage showing participation in only the Deluxe Dining Plan, but not the standard plan. Eventually last year those pop-up boxes were corrected to show those restaurants as participants in the regular Dining Plan as well as the Deluxe one, and I expect that will happen again in the next few months. For now, I recommend that you rely on the brochure for the 2012 Disney Dining Plan, which you can find here.  The brochure tends to be a reliable source of information regarding the Disney Dining Plan, and as more restaurants elect to participate in the plan, you'll see them added to this brochure later this year. For planning purposes, I would assume that restaurants participating in the 2011 plan will continue to do so in 2012, but check back at the beginning of 2012 so you can make any last-minute adjustments to your plans if necessary.
