    Hello! My family is arriving for our very first trip on 1/8. We are trying to figure out transportation and are wondering what the best mode of transport will be around the park, and how long it takes to get to each park from the Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi Heather!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited for you and your family to experience all the magic Walt Disney World has to offer for the very first time! From Disney's Wilderness Lodge you will have two main forms of transportation, the Walt Disney World Bus Service and Walt Disney World Water Transportation.

    The bus service operates on approximately 20 minute intervals and will pick you up just a few steps away from the resort lobby. This will be your best option for visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Disney Springs. In my experience, the longest distance you will travel from this resort will be to Disney's Animal Kingdom and should take approximately 12-15 minutes. 

    For transportation to Magic Kingdom I would recommend using a water taxi to sail across Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake! These operate on approximately 15 minute intervals with a travel time between 5 and 10 minutes. You will find the docks on the backside of the resort and directly in front of the park entrance.
