My family and I are arriving in Disney in May 2008. I was wondering what parks are geared for preschoolers ages 2 years old and 4 years old. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Colleen

    Colleen,

My answer would depend on how many days you have available.  I believe all of the four major parks have something unique and special to offer your children, and my own preschoolers (1, 3, and 5) have favorite attractions in each of them.

If your trip is short and you have limited park time, I suggest you concentrate on the Magic Kingdom.  The majority of rides and entertainment geared toward little ones is located in this park, and it's the most classically 'Disney' of the four.

I asked my 3 and 5 year olds to help me with the rest of this response, and here are their must-sees in the other three parks:

    Animal Kingdom
Festival of The Lion King which is "the very best!", The Boneyard playground "second best", the spinning dinos (mom note-Triceratops Spin), Bugs Life (It's Tough To Be a Bug - can be scary to some kids, mine love it), Kilimanjaro Safaris, the water ride if it is warm (translation - Kali River Rapids, 38" height requirement), and the very best Disney parade of all (Jammin' Jungle parade)

    Hollywood Studios
Playhouse Disney, the Little Mermaid show (Voyage of the Little Mermaid), lunch with the Little Einsteins, the weird playground (Honey I Shrunk the Kids), the Muppet 3-D show, Beauty and the Beast which is "so cool", and the movie ride (Great Movie Ride)  Mom note:  watch while you're there for sneak previews or perhaps the Grand Opening of the newest ride, Toy Story Mania, set to debut in late May.

    Epcot
Turtle Talk with Crush, the Nemo ride, Figment (mom note-Journey Into the Imagination with Figment), the boat rides (Living with the Land, Maelstrom, and Gran Fiesta Tour), and Soarin'  (mom note - Soarin' has a 40" minimum height requirement)

So there it is, straight from my little horses mouths.  :)

    Hope that helps!
