My family will be arriving at AOA resort Sept 10/15 and leaving Sept 17/15. We have the quick service dining plan. I know we get 2 meals but can they be used for lunch and dinner or do one have to be used for breakfest?

Hi, Lori! Disney's Art of Animation Resort is my daughter's favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotel. We stopped by there recently to see the gorgeous lobby chandelier, made up of storyboard panels that depict various scenes of the movies represented at this Resort. During your vacation, take a few moments and look for the Ursula panel. Pat Carroll, who was the voice of Ursula in "The Little Mermaid," stopped by the Resort this past summer to sign this storyboard panel. So cool!

I am such a fan of the Disney Dining Plans, which are all about flexibility! When you become "part of this world" at check-in, your account will be loaded with dining plan whozits and whatzits galore. Each mermaid, I mean, Guest in your party will receive two quick-service dining plan credits and one snack credit per night's stay. These credits can be used at any time during your stay under the sea. They will only expire as the clock strikes midnight the evening you check out from your Resort. If you would like to use just one credit thingamabob on your first day, that's fine! If you would prefer to use three credit dinglehoppers in one day, that's great! You can use them at any counter service location for any meal that best suits your fins.

My family does prefer to use dining plan credits for lunch and dinner meals to maximize their value. However, there are some breakfasts, such as the one at Be Our Guest Restaurant, that would be a swimmingly wonderful use of one of the quick-service credits!

I hope this information helps you plan your stay at Walt Disney World Resort. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
