Hello, Selina!
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is one of my family's favorite dining spots at Walt Disney World Resort, and it serves authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, cooked at inferno like temperatures. The Instagram worthy pizza ovens with smiling faces are named after the three active Italian volcanoes, Etna, Vesuvius, and Stromboli. Even though my Mouseketeers always order the Quattro Formaggi, my heart sings for the Carciofi Pizza, topped with artichokes and truffle oil!
The pizza at Via Napoli breaks down like this on the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan: an individual pizza is one entitlement, two people may split a large pizza and be charged one entitlement each (two entitlements total), or four people may split a half-meter pizza, also called a Mezzo Metro, and be charged one entitlement each (four entitlements total). Unfortunately, call ahead ordering is not available at Walt Disney World Resort Table Service restaurants. I could not get verification from Disney Dining whether you can take your food to go, but I would check with the Cast Members at the podium when you check-in at the restaurant if this is a possibility, and if you can use your party's dining credits to pay.
As an alternative, Pizza al Taglio (which translates to "pizza by the slice"), is a walk-up window located outside of Via Napoli. This is a great place to grab a quick slice of authentic Italian pizza for lunch or dinner from 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM. This spot serves Sicilian-style slices (square, thick crust) that differ from the thin-crust pizzas served inside at Via Napoli. The only drawback is that this location does not accept the Disney Dining Plan. The nearby
BoardWalk Pizza Window does accept the Disney Dining Plan and is open until midnight, perfect for a late-night meal! Depending on where you are staying, some Walt Disney World Resort hotels also offer
Pizza Delivery.
Please write back, Selina, if you "knead" any more help! See ya' real soon!
