Hi, We are family of 4, should we make advance booking for Disneyland parks Or we can buy on the spot?

    Hello Garima,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear your family is planning a visit to Disneyland Resort this summer. Whether this is your first visit (if so, be sure to pick up a complimentary first visit button at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A.) or a return trip, you're sure to enjoy all the magic that awaits. The Disney100 Celebration is in full swing this year too, so make time to experience the new evening spectaculars at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park during your visit.

Though you can purchase tickets in person at the Esplanade located between both park entrances, I don't advise waiting until you arrive to do so. As my fellow panelist Tony explains, valid admission as well as a theme park reservation are required for each day you plan to visit the parks. I'd hate for you to arrive and find your desired park unavailable for that particular day.

As my family's designated vacation planner I always purchase our theme park tickets well in advance of our visits. This not only puts us at ease knowing we'll be able to experience our preferred park each day, but also builds excitement and anticipation as we countdown to our trip! We love researching and planning almost as much as the actual vacation.

Check out our Top 23 for 2023 for some special tips and suggestions to include in your itineraries as you make your vacation plans, and stop back and see us again with any other questions. We're always happy to help!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
