Hi, we are a family of 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a toddler, we will be taking the Dream Cruise on February 13-16 to Bahamas. I would like to know if it's possible to pay for port adventures before we arrive to Port Canaveral.

Welcome aboard, Edda! Congratulations on your upcoming sailing with Disney Cruise Line! You're in for so much fun, and I'm thrilled that you're considering some of the amazing Port Adventures that are offered!

As a first time guest with Disney Cruise Line, you can begin your online check-in 75 days prior to departure. It is then that you'll be able to book Port Adventures. These will not be charged to your account until the last night of your sailing, but I have a way to pre-pay in theory if you'd like. Disney allows guests to add credit to their stateroom account prior to and during sailing, so you may simply add the exact amount of the cost of your adventures to your stateroom account, which will be a credit on the account until the adventure cost is charged. This way you can feel good that the money to pay is already set aside.

Simply call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 to add credit to your account. You can even purchase Disney Gift Cards to add as credit to your account. In fact, my family does that all the time because our local grocery store/gas station offers double and sometimes up to quadruple fuel rewards on any gift cards we purchase there. So we purchase our Disney Gift Cards at the grocery store to pay for our cruise and then we get points for so many cents off per gallon. Around our cruises, we end up saving up to a dollar per gallon each time we fill up the car. What a savings! So, I call this my way to get a discount on our cruise! Though that's not exactly what it is, we all need gas in the car, so we might as well save money on it while we pay for our cruise too! Hope you can take advantage of fuel rewards for Disney Gift Cards too!

Have fun planning Edda, and enjoy your cruise with Captain Mickey!
