Hi, we are a family of 2 adults and 5 kids (15,11,9,7,3) ? What is the best place to stay ? and where can we reserve ? because when I try to do it on line they told me that I exceed the maximum limit ?

    Hi Edith,

There are a number of options at Disney World for accommodating larger families.

The least expensive option would be to get two adjoining (next to each other) or connecting (connected by an internal door) rooms. These are available at any Disney resort. For example, the smallest and generally least expensive rooms are at the All Star Music, All Star Movies, and All Star Sports resorts. The standard rooms at those hotels sleep four guests. By getting two of these rooms connected you can accommodate up to eight guests. The same thing is possible at any of the moderate and deluxe levels as well. Simply choose based on your budget and themeing preferences.

It is possible to select this arrangement via online booking, but I personally find it very confusing. Your best bet is to give Disney a call at 407-WDISNEY and they can book it for you over the phone.

If you want to have your entire party accommodated with just one "front door," you can make this happen with a two or three bedroom villa at any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts. The two and three bedroom villas sleep between 8 and 12 guests, depending on their configuration. They function much like apartments, with multiple bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as a real kitchen with cooking facilities and a washer/dryer. Villas are available at the Beach Club, Boardwalk, Bay Lake Tower (Contemporary), Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Old Key West, and Saratoga Springs resorts. These rooms are easy to book online. Go to the main DisneyWorld.com home page. Then click on the "Places to Stay" tab and select "Deluxe Villas." You'll see all your options from there.
