Hi, we are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages 7, 5 and 3). We would like to stay at Art of Animation Resort, but we would prefer to stay at The Little Mermaid Standard Room, which sleeps up to 4 Adults. Could we stay at that room? Thanks

    Hello Pablo!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is my little ones favorite Disney Resort hotel.  Colorful courtyards, amazing pools and adorably themed rooms are just a few of the reasons they love it so much.  I often hear my children ask when they can go back to the '"animated hotel."

The Little Mermaid standard rooms sleep up to 4 Guests and one infant under 3 years-old in a pack 'n' play crib.   Since your little mouseketeer has already turned 3 years-old your family would be too large to stay in one room in this section.    You could reserve 2 rooms and request that they be adjoining or you could stay together in 1 Family Suite.  I've stayed in the Family Suites with my family of 5 on a couple of occasions and we really enjoy it.  The Family Suites feature 3 separate sleeping areas, a kitchenette and 2 full bathrooms. Your crew would have plenty of room to spread out and relax.  Family Suites are themed after some fun Disney and Disney Pixar films such as Cars, Finding Nemo and The Lion King.   Our favorite is the Cars section, because we love taking photographs with the characters positioned around the Cozy Cone Pool.   I encourage you to check out the above linked website for this Resort and discover all there is to offer for your family.

I hope you are able to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort on your upcoming vacation, it would truly be a treat your family would never forget.    If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to send them my way.  I love to lend a helping hand whenever I have the chance.

    Have an Animated Day,
