    My family and I (3 adults) are considering changing from the Cabins to a 1 bedroom Saratoga villa. What are the pros/cons of Saratoga? Also, how is the Disney transportation to the parks? Are certain villas closer to bus stations? Thanks so much!

    Hi Kathleen,

    I have not stayed at the Fort Wilderness Cabins but I know they are fun according to other moms and friends. I know they all recommend renting a golf cart to get around.

    I have stayed at Saratoga Springs. This is a huge resort with the internal transportation taking a while to even leave the property. As for to the parks, it is about 20-25 minutes for most parks except the water parks and Animal Kingdom which are about 10. With its location next to Downtown Disney, it is a great location to go out in the evening shopping or to dinner without much effort. It is a tough resort to come back for a nap or afternoon break daily unless you have a car.

    You can ask for buildings 16, 17 or 18 to be near the bus and the main pool. This also has a view of Downtown Disney which is nice as well.
