We have a family of 8 adults and 5 children(ages 11 and under) and we had heard from a friend about a 7 room floor(suite?) that we can get. Where is it?

There are a few 3 bedroom "Grand Villas" at the Boardwalk, Old Key West, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Saratoga Springs resorts. These villas can accommodate up to twelve people, plus one child under the age of three in a portable crib. Some of these rooms do have multiple floors within them. These Grand Villas include three bathrooms, a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, two other bedrooms with two queen-sized beds each, a dining room, a living room with a pull-out couch, and a real kitchen with a washer/dryer. There are not many of these rooms on property, and they can be quite expensive.

The Grand Villas would be the only arrangement on WDW property that could fit a group of your size (and I'm assuming that one of the kids is small) in one "room."  Otherwise you'll have to fit your group into multiple accommodations. If you explain your situation when making your reservation on the phone, often they can help you work out a series of adjoining rooms or at least rooms that are near each other. On our last family vacation, we traveled with my parents. We requested that they be placed near us in the hotel, and they were given a room right across the hall from us.

To ask questions about pricing or availability, you should call Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY.

Hope you have a great trip!
