Hi! Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children - 8,5,5,&3 , all over 40 inches.) is trying to determine a good age to return to WDW. How many rides will we miss out on (need to stand in line twice for) if we visit now with more children than adults?

    Hi Kay,

I really think the decision to return is up to you. Walt Disney wanted to make sure that families can experience the park together. This is why there are fewer big rides with height restrictions.

Since you are all at 40 inches, these are the rides which you might need a little extra height:

    48 inches
    Primeval Whirl
    Rock 'n' Rollercoaster by Aerosmith

    44 inches
    Expedition Everest
    Space Mountain

If you want to wait until everyone clears 48 inches, you might need another two years. Another option is to simply skip these rides or split up.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
