Hi! My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) will be in Disney in April. I've reserved lunch everyday and 1 dinner. I was thinking of doing more casual dinners. Do you recommend the dining plan?

    Dear Christine,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great planning question about the Disney Dining Plan!

It sounds like you have a really fantastic plan set up for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and it sounds similar to the plan that my family usually uses during our trips. We typically make an Advanced Dining Reservation for lunch, and then eat a lighter dinner at a Quick-Service location. We have found that making two Table-Service reservations each day is too much food for us, but that of course is different for each family.

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to pre-pay for your meals during your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, and many guests really love it! Our family finds that it doesn't quite fit with our usual routine and plans, so we don't usually use it, but there are many other Moms Panelists who absolutely swear by it for every trip! I think if you like to pre-pay for everything and not have to think about your budget at all during your trip, it's a great option!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
