Our family, (9 adt, 5 chd) are staying in wdw Sep/Oct. When we get ready to make dining res. what are our chances of being able to sit together and get a decent dining time?

    Hi Christina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I was so excited to see you'll be visiting Walt Disney World with 14 people!  My favorite way to vacation is with my extended family, so I can tell you first-hand that you really will make memories that will last a lifetime.  I've traveled to Walt Disney World many times with groups this size and have had very good luck getting reservations for the restaurants and times that we've wanted.  For the best availability, I'd recommend going online or calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) 180 days in advance to make your dining reservations.  If you'll be staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you'll also be able to make dining reservations for up to 10 days from your check-in date.  Be sure you've picked out your preferred restaurants for each day of your vacation in advance, plus a couple back-ups.  As a matter of routine, you'll likely be told that your party could be seated at separate tables, but in my experience, the restaurants will do their best to seat you all together.

Wishing you happy vacation planning, Christina!  We'd love to help answer any other questions you have as your vacation gets closer.
