Our family has been addicted to watching the Disney Food Network Challenges (cakes & such) & they are so fun! Does anyone know how to find out when these are going on to see if you can be in the audience? We're going to WDW in 43 days!! Yay!!

I have my Tivo set to automatically record anything that about Disney and Travel or Disney and Food. I love when it finds those cake challenges for me. The cakes always look too beautiful to eat -- but I know that I'd eat them anyway. Wouldn't it be fun to watch the cakes actually made!

Disney itself does not publicize when events like this will be taking place at WDW. You can see my answer to a similar question HERE. But there may be a back-door way to find out some information about the cake challenges. Go to the Food Network website at and search for the show Food Network Challenge. You'll find here a link that says "Attend a Food Network Challenge Taping." You may be able to find additional information here, but there is currently nothing listed at WDW.

Even without a TV show, I'm sure you'll be able to find some yummy desserts during your trip to WDW :-)
