    My familly will be visiting WDW in June. I understand there is an alternative lifestyle special event scheduled June 2-7. Can you give me some info regarding this event and if my child will see any PDA.

    Hi, Kevin.  The non-Disney sponsored GayDays is scheduled to take place in Orlando that first week in June.  The group events taking place in the Walt Disney World theme parks are as follows:

    June 4 - Animal Kingdom
    June 5 - Disney's Hollywood Studios
    June 6 - Magic Kingdom
    June 7 - EPCOT

    The event promoters bill the event as a something for everyone, all over town vacation extravaganza.  You can expect more than 140,000 people living in non-traditional families attending the events in the Orlando area - not just at the Walt Disney World theme parks.

    As for public displays of affection, you can expect to see those families interacting in much the same way your family interacts while at the theme parks.  I would say based on my past experiences, most of what you see is hand holding.
