We are 3 families. For two of the families it's a first time trip to WDW. All together we are 16 ranging ages from 2 to 50. We aren't staying at a Disney Resort but would like to know what we CAN do to make this trip fun. Something that we can do together.

    Hi Anarely,

Thanks for bringing your question to the Moms Panel.  I have previously traveled with large groups to the Walt Disney World Resort and the thing that brings us all together is food.  There are two restaurants in Epcot that are great for large groups; Teppan Edo and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.

The large tables at Teppan Edo are perfect for a group of 16. The chefs cook right at your table and their mastery is a show in itself.  Everyone in your group is sure to be entertained.

For a family pizza party, Via Napoli is the place.  The Mezzo Metro size serves three to five, so order a few, and you'll have enough to feed your hungry group.  If you've ever eaten with an Italian family, the atmosphere is boisterous and a whole lot of fun, and at Via Napoli, everyone is family.

Advanced Dining Reservations are recommended for both restaurants, so I would book as soon as your reservation window opens to insure that your large group can be accommodated.

I hope you found this information helpful.  If there's anything else we can do to help make your vacation a magical one, please come back and see us.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
