We have 2 families traveling together the first week of Dec. Can we use 2 seperate deluxe dining plans at meals. We want to eat together and make reservations together.

You're describing a very common situation. Your needs can definitely be accommodated at the WDW restaurants. If you all want to eat together, you should definitely make one dining reservation for the entire party. This will ensure that you are all seated at one table. Once you're seated, you can pay in any way you like. Simply tell your server that you all have the Disney Dining plan, but you would like separate checks.

The server will generate two bills and will deduct the appropriate number of Dining Plan credits from each of the groups. Before you leave the restaurant, I would double check your receipt to make sure everything was accounted for correctly, but you should not have any problems with this at all.

Enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World.
