We have 2 families on Dream next week (4 nights) and need detailed answers to these questions! Are the pirate night and Halloween nights separate?; Do we wear our costumes to dinner or change after; How much is generally tipped over the recommended amt?

    Ahoy, Rachael!

I'm always thrilled to help a fellow Georgian with cruise questions, so thank you for sailing by! You've chosen a fabulous cruise for your vacation, and I love to hEAR that you'll be sharing your magical experiences with another family. I firmly believe the more the merrier aboard Disney Cruise Line!

So let's get you and your crew ready to board the Disney Dream! Since you've selected a 4-night Halloween on the High Seas sailing, you'll be in for some extra pixie dust next week. One night will be Halloween themed and costumes are recommended, but optional. You can wear them as long as you like as the festivities begin in the afternoon at Mickey's Mouse-Querade Party and continue on until the adult costume party that is held later on in the evening. Mickey's Mouse-Querade Party is in the lobby atrium and will be a lively celebration with your favorite Disney Pals, trick-or-treating and games! The Characters will be dressed in their adorable Halloween costumes, so you don't want to miss out on these meet-n-greet opportunities. These were some of my favorite pictures from our cruise!

Rachael, you are also encouraged to dress up for the Pirate Night fun. Most Guests will be dressed in their pirate garb from before dinner to after the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks Spectacular. This night is another opportunity for unique photos with pirate-themed backdrops and the Characters in their pirate attire.

The extra amount you tip is at your discretion, Rachael. You can bring along cash to add to the envelopes that you'll receive in your stateroom or stop by Guest Services to increase the suggested amount that will be charged to your account. We typically bring a few extra $10.00 and $20.00 bills as our extra tip money, but it's really what you are comfortable giving.

I'm sure y'all are buzzing with excitement, so have a SPOOK-tacular time!
