    Fam of 4, 2nd trip to Disney wk of thxgiving 2013. 2 boys10 & 7, we recently upgraded to AKL w/free disney dining :) Trying to redo scheudle. Need to plan a day to stay at AKL to enjoy it. Thxgiving Day be a good day to dine at AKL to avoid park crowd

    Spending vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort at Thanksgiving is really cool! All of the Walt Disney World parks and resorts will be in full holiday magic.

    I think staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge on Thanksgiving is a great idea! There is a great pool and there are even animals right outside some rooms. I also think it is a great place to dine. While many guests are looking for a traditional Thanksgiving meal for this day, I say go with a different culture. The blending of cultures is what makes America so special.

    I love both Boma and Jiko, the Cooking Place for a meal. I love that they have traditional American items done in an African twist.
