Hello!! My fam & I are traveling 10/24-10/30 and it was last min to add the dining plan, which means no ADR's yet. The popular CD (Chef Mick, Ohana) are not avail. Will it be useless to try to get a table when we get there? Should I cancel the meal pla

If you don't have table service reservations in advance, then I would cancel the dining plan.  It is sometimes possible to get an opening once you arrive in WDW, but there's no guarantee and it's chancey to wait and hope for the best.

That said, definitely program the Disney Dining number into your cell phone and continue calling while you are in the parks.  Very often people make last minute changes to their plans and you can find an opening.  You can also stop by the concierge desk at your resort, or guest services in the parks, and they can assist you in finding restaurant openings for your party.

    Good luck!
