Aloha, Gabriel! Welcome back to planDisney! Mahalo for stopping by with such a great planning question.
Gabriel, before you know it, you and your family will be arriving at the gorgeous, grand lobby of
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, feeling the tropical breeze, hearing the waves lap the shoreline and tasting that first sip of a mai tai out of a pineapple. Ahhhh, pixie-dusted paradise. How exciting! I'm also planning my first visit to Aulani, so I've been picking the brains of my Aulani-expert planDisney panelist pals for all the must-do activities for my daughter to enjoy, and I'm thrilled to share their tips!
There is a seemingly endless list of recreation offerings and
awesome Resort activities at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Besides the not-to-be-missed
beach at Ko Olina Lagoon, the incredible Waikolohe Pool and Stream,
Rainbow Reef and
character experiences around the Resort, I will share my daughter's must-do list that we compiled with the help of the experts. My pal
Kamini informed me that the "
Make Your Own Mickey Ears" activity (for a small fee) is not to be missed, and this looks like
so much fun. You create adorable Mickey ears with a Hawaiian twist, and this is something that I'm looking forward to myself!
My pal
Doug highly recommends the
Menehune Adventure Trail, and we can't wait to do this! This high-tech, interactive scavenger hunt throughout the Resort is included in your stay and looks like
so much fun and an awesome way to explore and learn about the Resort and Hawaiian culture. Speaking of Hawaiian culture, your girls won't want to miss
Ukulele Lessons! This once-in-a-lifetime activity is included in your stay and is very popular, so I suggest arriving early to sign up. Be sure to check the
Daily 'Iwa or ask the front desk for schedules and sign-up instructions.
My daughter has also added the
Kāpala Ki'i - T-Shirt Stamping Activity,
‘Imi Loa Nāa Hōkū (Explore the Stars) and
Mo'olelo Fire Pit Storytelling to her must-do list. I recommend heading to the Aulani website, hovering over the "Activities" tab, clicking "
All Activities" and then using the Age and Interest filters to have your girls make
their must-do list! This is such a fun way to get them involved in the planning and build excitement for such an incredible Spring Break adventure.
I hope this was helpful, Gabriel, and I hope you and your family have
the most magical and memorable time at Aulani. Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way!
A Hui Hou (Until we meet again),
Mandy
