    I am fairly new to DVC-I have seen much about Owner's Locker (purple box) I have searched mom's panel & havean't been able to find any comments, concerns, likes or dislikes. Maybe I am just searching by wrong-seems pretty popular-

    Hi, Denise!  We are also Disney Vacation Club owners, I know quite a few other DVC members, as well as members of other time share resorts, that use and love Owners Locker.  In a nutshell, you'll get a container in which you can place items you will typically only need on vacation.  When it comes time to pack for your relaxing holiday at your DVC resort, you just have to notify them, and they will bring the locker to the resort. 

    I find the biggest comment among my friends is that it saves them a fortune on the ever increasing airline baggage fees.  They store things like pool toys, sunscreen, beach towels, bathing suits (items that you store must be dry when you store them), sandals - and some of them even keep summer clothes in their locker!  I have one friend who never travels with anything more than a carry-on bag with a few items in it - she even keeps a week's worth clothing in her locker, along with all of her toiletries, so she never has to pack for a vacation to Walt Disney World!

    Because we have used our DVC points for other things, like an incredible Disney cruise, we wouldn't be able to use the Owner's Locker to it's full advantage.  I can't guarantee that my DVC points are all going to be used at Walt Disney World, so some of the things I'd have in my locker might be things I need elsewhere.  But it is a phenomenal service for people who know they'll be at a Walt Disney World resort for their next vacations!
