Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us your question.
In my opinion, Christmastime at Walt Disney World is the most magical time of the year to visit. They definitely pulls out all the stops when decorating the parks and resorts for the holiday season.
Watching
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth after the
Candlelight Processional is definitely possible. The get the best view possible, you have a couple options. First, you could stroll out to your favorite spot around the World Showcase Lagoon. There are plenty of places near the America Gardens Theatre which have fabulous views. I would suggest heading toward the Italy and Germany Pavilions to find a spot. Since Christmas Eve will likely be quite busy, I would plan to be there at least 45 minutes early to secure the best spot. The second option for viewing Illuminations is to attend the
Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party which features amazing international desserts and a VIP view of Illuminations.
Information on all the holiday events will start trickling out in May so keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for information on the dates and times for events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Holidays Around The World and the Candlelight Processional.
I hope you this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.
Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
