We have an extra TS, can you tell me which of the planned is best for our out of pocket pick? Dinner: Chef Mickey, BOG. Breakfast: Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Playnvine, 1900 PF. Lunch: Mama Mel, Coral Reef.

Hi, Tracey! Just looking over your dining picks has me drooling! You have definitely chosen some of the most fun and delicious places to dine in Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation. They are also great places to make the most of your Disney Dining Plan. Looks like you are a Mom who has been doing her homework!

I made a quick chart to help narrow down which you should choose to be the meal that you pay for out-of-pocket, instead of utilizing a dining plan table-service credit. The majority of your meals are buffets and have a set price. It is a little tricky determining ahead of time what you will end up paying at the other meals - Coral Reef Restaurant, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano and Be Our Guest Restaurant. The price per person can fluctuate based on what entrees, desserts and appetizers you order. I did figure up an average price for these three locations and started comparing.

I think you will come out ahead by choosing to pay out-of-pocket at your 1900 Park Fare Supercalifragilistic Breakfast. Breakfast meals are generally less expensive, and this particular one costs less than the others you have listed. The fact that it is a character dining experience makes this meal a practically perfect bargain when paying out-of-pocket.

I hope you enjoy your delightfully delicious tour of Walt Disney World Resort, Tracey! Stop by again if you cook up another great question for us.
