What extra special things can I plan over the next day or two to make our stay even more magical? We are arriving next Wednesday, 7 of us total. Both me and my wife's parents and our son who is 2.5 yrs old. We are staying at the Pop Century Resort.

    Hi Cord,

Ohmygoodness, I'm SO excited for you guys! You're going to love experiencing the magic with and through your son's eyes, and I love that you'll all get to do it together!

The week before a Disney vacation is a great time to start adding Pixie Dust here and there, building the excitement for your upcoming vacation. What about making a countdown chain that you can tear off little by little to build anticipation? Another simple idea is to add a quarter to a jar every time you sing a Disney song or a penny for every Disney Character you can think of. Bring your coins along with you and look for coin press machines located all around the Walt Disney World Resort as a fun way to remember a favorite attraction, Character, or experience.

Have you made any advanced dining reservations? A Character dining experience would be a great way to add some magic to your vacation. Watching the Characters interact with my children always creates special memories! Or for something really special, consider adding a tour, dining experience, or in-room celebration with Disney's Enchanted Extras Collection.

Even packing can be fun when you choose some favorite Disney attire to wear to the parks or favorite Disney Character plush toys to keep on your pillow. Maybe bring some Disney window clings to hang in your resort hotel window. All these little preparations beforehand build up to the truly unforgettable experience of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you have a very magical vacation, Cord, and that your family creates memories to last a lifetime!
