Because Extra magic hours allows guest to stay until closing, do those guest get to enjoy the benefit of MVMCP without a purchased ticke? How do they monitor the crowd to know if they bought the extra ticket for party?

Hi Robyn! Thanks for the question. Extra Magic Hours are a fantastic perk for guests of Disney resorts, where they can enjoy one park per day, either opened an hour early or up to three hours later. Guests are required to show their room key to participate.

Special ticket events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party require a separate ticket for the event. There are never extra magic hours at the Magic Kingdom on party nights. Guests with tickets are given a wristband to wear for the evening, and they are the only ones entitled to be in the park. Guests who have been in the Magic Kingdom during the day are asked to leave the park at closing time, which is usually 7 pm.

Hope this clears it up Robyn! Please write back with any other questions!
