Can 1 extra guest be added to Chef Mickey for breakfast without canceling and trying to get a new reservation?

    Deb,

Typically they can accommodate minor changes to a reservation without having to cancel and re-book. Certainly with changes like bumping up from 3 guests to 4 guests you are really not changing anything for how the restaurant would operate. But if it is from 4 to 5 there might be some issues.

What I recommend you do is call the reservations line (407-WDW-DINE) and give them your reservation number. Ask if it is possible to move up your reservation by one person. They will be able to tell you right away if they can change it without changing your time of reservation or not.

IF they have to move you, or cannot accommodate your change, that is when you would have to make the decision to either cancel and find a reservation elsewhere, or to find alternate plans for the added guest. Just don't show up to the restaurant at that meal time hoping that they will be OK with the addition, as they probably can't make the change to plans that late in the process.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
