With the Extra Extra hours this fall will the restaurants in the parks open early also?

Hi, Chris, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When the Disney Parks Blog announced the new Extra, Extra Magic Hours benefit offered for a limited time only to official Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests, I was very excited. I remember when they offered a similar option when Pandora - The World of Avatar opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, but those extended Extra Magic Hours went late into the evening. This time, we’ll all have to set our alarms to wake up bright and early to take advantage of the 6-9 a.m. Extra, Extra Magic Hours benefit for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and set them not quite as early for the 7-8 a.m. additional hour of fun at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

I just checked My Disney Experience to see if there were any early morning dining reservations available when these Extra, Extra Magic Hours are offered from Sept. 1- Nov. 2, but I only see the typical pre-Park opening options for 7:45 or 7:50 a.m. for an 8 a.m. opening. We haven’t been given any additional information beyond what the Disney Parks Blog has posted, but I hope we’ll at least see some of the quick service options open for Guests (especially during the 6-9 a.m. window at Disney’s Hollywood Studios).

My best advice would be to continue to follow the Disney Parks Blog for updates, as I’m sure they’ll publish more information as we get closer to the opening date for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In the meantime, let us know if we can help with anything else!
