We have an extra day to use will be arriving 8-16-09 at 7:40pm MK has EMH do you think we will be able to go to the park that night or plane leaving on 8-23-09 at 2:00pm should we use it in am before we depart traveling with 4 kids 2,5,9,11 Thanks

    Hi Michele,

I'm not sure if your 7.40pm arrival is actually at your resort or at Orlando airport, if it's your flight arrival time you'll then need to allow between 60 and 90 minutes to get to your resort. You then need time to check in and find your room. If this is the case and as you have 2 young children I would not recommend you try and visit Magic Kingdom for the extra magic hours that night. Just spend some time relaxing and settling in at your resort so you'll be able to enjoy the parks fully the next day. Even if you will be arriving at your resort at 7.40pm I still think you should not visit Magic Kingdom but save your park pass for your last day. You can pre arrange with bell services to collect your luggage early in the morning so you can make the most of your last few hours in the parks. This way you can also ask your children which park was their favourite and revisit it as a special treat. You may also be able to wear them out a little making for a nicer journey home!

Have a great trip and as you're travelling in August don't forget to take afternoon breaks and drink lots of water,
