Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cheryl!
I've planned a few multi-generational trips to Walt Disney World Resort, and it is so wonderful for both young and old to experience the magic together. After all, imagination has no age!
Whether or not you'll be able to get an extra bed for your room will depend on where you are staying and how many people are in your party. Some Disney Resort Hotels do offer rollaway beds, others provide air mattresses, and at some Resort Hotels, no additional bedding is available. Extra beds may not be used to exceed the stated maximum occupancy of the room. Most standard rooms at Disney Resort Hotels have a maximum capacity of 4 or 5 Guests, plus one infant under age 3 in a crib. Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort or
Disney's All-Star Music Resort and
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort can sleep up to 6 Guests. There are also some
Deluxe Villas that can accommodate larger parties.
I recommend contacting your booking agent or the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to ask about your options. Based on availability, you may be able to change your room type if grandmothers decide to join you.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you
plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We are always happy to help.
