Ahoy there, Paul! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question. I absolutely love that you’re planning such a magical surprise for your family on the
Disney Wish! I’m happy to share a couple of ways you can handle your dining arrangements, depending on when you plan to reveal the surprise.
If you’d like to keep the secret until you’re onboard, I recommend holding off on linking the reservations for now. Once you’ve surprised them, you can visit the Dining Session after boarding to request to be seated together. You’ll find information about the Dining Session in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi. Just keep in mind that if your confirmed dining time is 5:45 p.m., space may be a bit more limited, and you could be asked to switch to the 8:15 p.m. seating instead.
If you’re planning to reveal the surprise before your voyage, you can
call Disney Cruise Line up to three days before sailing to have your reservations linked. You’ll just need their reservation number, the lead Guest’s name, and date of birth. Just remember that once the reservations are linked, they’ll see that in their app, so the secret might slip out early!
And since we’re talking dining, if you have any Frozen fans in the group,
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure is truly worth melting for! It’s such a fun and theatrical experience. Personally, though, my favorite is
1923 because the menu and atmosphere make for an unforgettable evening.
I hope your family surprise goes off without a hitch, Paul! If you have any more questions before you set sail, you know where to find us.
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
