To use the extended evening hours benefit of staying at a Disney world hotel, do you have to have a park reservation for that specific park if you have the park hopper option added to your ticket?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Traci!

Thanks for stopping by with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! It sounds like you're planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of weeks. Oh boy! Traci, I'm here to help you plan for a swell time in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

Extended evening hours are a great way for Guests to maximize their time in the theme parks! Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or other select hotels can enjoy the extended evening hours benefit at select theme parks on select nights throughout the year and continuing in 2024. To take advantage of the extended evening hours benefit, Guests must have either:
    • valid theme park admission and a theme park reservation for the same theme park on the same day, or
    • valid theme park admission with the Park Hopper option, and have first entered the theme park for which they made their theme park reservation, or
    • an Annual Pass, and have first entered the theme park for which they made their theme park reservation.
Traci, since it sounds like your theme park tickets will include the Park Hopper option, you'll be able to enter the theme park offering extended evening hours as long as you've first entered the park for which you made your theme park reservation! I recommend checking out the Hours & Events Calendar ahead of your visit to map out your plan to experience extended evening hours. Also, I encourage you to utilize the early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel Guests to make the most of your time in the theme parks!

I hope you find this information helpful, Traci. I'm wishing you a magical and memorable trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional planning questions before or during your vacation, please feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
