    Very exspensive fragile item we bought in Epcot and also a time frame that must be met to receive without the threat of damage or loss. When do we receive tracking?

    Thanks for coming back with another question for us. I'm happy to assist!

    I've done my fair share of shopping at Walt Disney World Resort so I know a thing or two about waiting for those magical purchases to arrive on my doorstep back home. Earlier this year I even did some shopping for two of my fellow panelists. I had their items shipped from the Creations Shop in EPCOT and texted them a copy of their respective shipping receipts. The items arrived by the time I returned home from my adventure and everyone went on their merry and magical way.

    I'm not certain what you mean regarding a time frame without the threat of damage, but I'm happy to help you track your item based on my experience. Hopefully, you still have the yellow shipping receipt you received when making your purchase, as this will be the ticket to tracking your treasures. The number printed on this form isn't an actual tracking number, but it will help you locate your item as it makes its way to you.

    Cast Members have told me that most items are typically sent via UPS. Navigate to the UPS website and then select the "Tracking" link at the very bottom of the page under "This Site" along the footer. You should see three links appear toward the right side of the page. Select "Track by Reference Number" and input the code from your shipping form. In my experience, it was the 7-digit number below the barcode.

    This internal reference number should pull up an actual UPS tracking number which you can use to see your item's progress. If this doesn't work I'd repeat the process via the FedEx website. Navigate to their site, click "Tracking" along the page header, then select the blue "All Tracking Services" link. Select the second tab to "Track by Reference."

    If none of these methods help you locate your traveling treasure I recommend reaching out to a Cast Member by phone for further assistance. They should be able to look up the reference number printed on your slip to determine which company is handling your delivery.
