Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cynthia!
When my son was magically madeover into his favorite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, it was such a wonderful experience. I can still remember the end of his experience as the pirate asked him to name his own pirate ship. He asked for a color, and my son said "Black". Then, he asked for the first animal he could think of, and my son quickly said, "Unicorn"! Ha! We couldn't help but laugh that of all the animals, the first thing he thought of was a unicorn. So, his pirate ship was quickly named The Black Unicorn. I bet no other pirates leaving The Pirates League that day were off to sail on The Black Unicorn!
The pirate and mermaid makeovers in
The Pirates League in Adventureland at
Magic Kingdom are a very special experience for kids, so I hope you're able to make reservations for your little pirate to enjoy this too. Check out the pricing and package options that start at $39.95 under "Plunder-Filled Packages" on the Pirates League webpage. The pricing goes up with the more additions that are included. If you're looking to save some money, you might consider purchasing a Disney pirate costume on sale at home and hiding it in your suitcase to present to your little swashbuckler when you arrive at Pirates League, and then choosing a lower cost package. However, there are plenty of packages that include a full costume which is a lot of fun too!
Either way, the experience is one your little one will remember forever, so enjoy every moment of this adventure, Cynthia! Be sure to make reservations as soon as possible, as this is a popular activity and time slots fill up quickly. Happy planning!
