    Explain why a person should be a member of the club? What the cost? How do save from being a member.

    Hi Ann!

    Hello fellow Hoosier! With Disney Vacation Club, Members purchase a real estate interest in one of Disney’s Vacation Club Resorts. If you are a family who enjoys traveling regularly, especially to Disney Parks, then Disney Vacation Club may be something that would work for you!

    We became Disney Vacation Club Members for several reasons. We enjoy traveling, and were looking for ways to make those vacations more enjoyable and affordable. Since were a family of five, we were interested in larger, more home-like accommodations. Disney Vacation Club Resorts offer Deluxe Studios, as well as 1 and 2 and even 3 Bedroom Villas. We usually stay in a 1 Bedroom or larger, and these rooms include a full kitchen, washer, dryer and separate living and sleeping areas. We have found these larger rooms really allow us to relax and enjoy our vacations more. 

    By being Disney Vacation Club Members, we save on the cost of our villa through Membership, but we also save by cooking some of our meals in our room, and packing less to avoid baggage fees, knowing I can do laundry in our room. We also currently receive a discount on Walt Disney World Annual Passes, and select merchandise and dining. For our family, becoming Members has opened up a new world of vacation possibilities. Not only can you vacation at Disney Parks, but Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, and at destinations around the world! If you are interested in learning more about Membership, I recommend you speak with a Vacation Club Guide. You can receive information at home, or I recommend visiting a Disney Vacation Club Open House while on your vacation. You can tour a model room, ask questions and enjoy some ice cream while you learn about Disney Vacation Club and what it can offer your family.
