Extra Magic Hours are an exclusive benefit where the parks open early or stay open late, especially for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. They are one of the many
benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, and one of my favorite perks. There is no additional charge for Extra Magic Hours! Guests will have their MagicBands or entrance cards checked to be sure they are eligible for these special hours. I particularly like Morning Extra Magic Hours as I find we can visit some of the most popular attractions in that first hour before the park gets too busy.
The Walt Disney World Resort also offers additional, specialty ticketed events that can be purchased by Guests regardless of where they are staying.
Disney’s Early Morning Magic allows a limited number of Guests to enter a park before regular park opening, and includes breakfast! Mornings that Early Morning Magic is offered will not offer Extra Magic Hours for resort Guests, so you get exclusive access to some of the most popular park attractions as well as a delicious meal to start your day. Currently, this event is offered only at the Magic Kingdom.
