What does the expiration date on the AP renewal certificate mean? We renewed our AP(s) 10/19 and have yet to "activate" them. Does this mean we have until 12/31/2030 to "activate" our AP(s)? Thanks.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrea!

I’m always happy to discuss Annual Passes with a current or future member of the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder family! The benefits of being an Annual Passholder are absolutely wonderful, aren’t they? From discounts to select dining and merchandise to discounts on Walt Disney World Resort hotel offers all make having an Annual Pass so worthwhile for my family and I! And of course, nothing beats the magic of being able to come back all year long!

Congratulations on renewing your Annual Passes! A renewal certificate still holds your original expiration date, and as of now, Walt Disney World Resort will add two weeks to the original expiration date. If you are a Florida Resident or Disney Vacation Club Member, you will have to call in to renew your Annual Passes.

Andrea, I hope you and your family have the most enchanting vacations all throughout the year to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
