Hello Experts! Our family will be visiting WDW in June, and we are first timers! We are staying at the Dolphin Hotel and the Wilderness Hotel. Do you think it is worth switching over to the wilderness hotel? I read that that hotel is more magical for kids.

    Hi Sarah!

No matter where you choose to stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am sure you will be very pleased!  Every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel has something that appeals to every age, so everyone will be happy.  I have never had the opportunity to stay at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, but I have stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge a few times!  The Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel is located near Epcot, which is really fun, but Disney's Wilderness Lodge is located so close to Magic Kingdom Park that you can even take a boat there right from the resort!

Personally, I think Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of the best Walt Disney World Resort Hotels!  It is an amazingly beautiful resort with glorious pools, scrumptious dining options (including Whispering Canyon Cafe which happens to be one of my favorite places to eat in the whole Walt Disney World Resort), and lovely decor that makes you instantly feel at home.  I believe it is just as magical for adults as it is for kids--maybe even more so!  Long story short, I think switching over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a great idea, and I think you will be very pleased you did!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Hi y’all!  I am an Army wife, a college instructor, a dog-mom, and a lover of all things Disney!  Planning a Disney vacation is my favorite pastime—other than actually going on a Disney vacation, of course—and I love helping others make the most of their magical trip!  If I am not at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am putting the pixie-dusted touches on my next trip!
