    Is it more expensive to upgrade to park hopper after you buy your tickets or does it cost the same if you buy tickets with park hopper?

    Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to help with your Walt Disney World ticket inquiry. As you know Walt Disney World tickets are very customizable for Guests from the number of days to upgraded options creating your perfect Walt Disney World vacation is all in your hands.

    No matter if you choose to include the Park Hopper option at the time of purchase or modify your ticket at a later date to include the Park Hopper option, the price is the same.  Upgrading to the Park Hopper option is easily done through your My Disney Experience mobile app. Select the menu option in the lower right-hand corner and then choose Tickets & Passes. A list of your Walt Disney World tickets will appear in the top portion of your screen. Scroll to the first ticket you would like to upgrade and select Change Ticket. Next, you will be prompted to select or deselect the other Guest’s tickets you would like to change and then choose Continue. To upgrade to the Park Hopper option select Ticket Type and choose the Park Hopper option upgrade. The final step is to pay the cost difference and you are now set to enjoy Park Hopping privileges. 

    Park Hopping begins at 2:00 p.m. until the time the Walt Disney World Theme Parks close. And while a Disney Park Pass reservation is not required for park hopping parks it is required for the first park you plan on visiting and you must enter before being able to park hop. Guest are able to check park-hopping park availability on their My Disney Experience mobile app or by calling (407) 560-5000.
