Hi again, Angela!
I am sure you know all about the
Disney Park Pass system, which currently limits entry to each theme park to only those ticket holders with a reservation for that day. Angela, Walt Disney World Resort has not announced what the specific capacity limits are, nor how they expect them to change over time.
But I can let you in on some secrets that my family uses to beat the crowds, especially when visiting during peak periods.
Theme Parks are usually the most crowded in the middle of the day, so we like to show up as soon as the parks open and stay until they close. This is often exhausting with the little ones, so we take a mid-day break to see a show, have a
sit-down lunch, or even leave the park for some pool time or naps before we head back.
The other thing that my family loves to do is to tour the theme parks in the reverse order. For example, once Magic Kingdom opens most people head to the right towards Futureland or straight through Cinderella Castle to get on their first rides. My family heads straight to Frontierland where we can usually walk onto both
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and
Splash Mountain with very little wait.
Angela, I returned from a Walt Disney World Resort vacation last month, and I was incredibly impressed with the
physical distancing measures that were being taken. Each of the attractions had a clearly marked queue, and at each store capacity limits were strictly enforced. There was also a team of incredible Cast Members who ensured that all guests were complying with the guidelines.
It is always so great to talk to you, so please come back here if we can help you figure out where to play, stay, or dine at Walt Disney World Resort!
See you real soon!
Sarah B.
