What would we expect the weather be like in April travelling on the Disney Fantasy for the 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise?

Welcome aboard, Dawn! What a wonderful spring trip you have planned for your family! You will absolutely love every magical moment on the Disney Fantasy. But not only onboard will your family share wonderful memories, because you'll be traveling to some of the most fabulous ports of call in the Caribbean! I hope you've had the chance to browse some of the exciting Port Adventures offered by Disney Cruise Line to help you make the most of your time in each port of call!

My family sailed this past April with Disney Cruise Line and enjoyed wonderfully summer-like weather. The average temperatures in the Caribbean in April are mid-70's to upper 80's, so be sure to pack summer-type clothing. Even though that sounds beautifully warm and sunny, there's always the chance of isolated rain showers, but in our experience in the Caribbean, they tend to pass quickly, so I wouldn't be too worried if you see that in the forecast.

When you're packing, be sure that everyone in your family has a light sweater or jacket. Even though it may be hot outside, I always find that at night out on deck I tend to get chilly, and there is usually a breeze out on deck in the evenings as well. Plus, I find it a bit cool inside the Walt Disney Theatre during the nightly Broadway-style shows as well as in the restaurants, so I like to keep a sweater with me just in case.

I hope those details help as you continue planning for your cruise, Dawn! Have a wonderful trip!
