How much would I expect to pay for gratuity for 2 adults 4 kids and one infant at Chef Mickey’s?

    Hey Jessica,

Welcome to planDisney! Chef Mickey’s is one of my favorite character dining experiences. I like to start my day with Mickey waffles and a visit from Pluto, but dinner at Chef Mickey’s is fabulous too! I love visiting restaurants with buffets because my kids can easily find something they’ll enjoy.

An 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill for parties of 6 or more. At this time, the menu prices differ depending on the meal you’ve booked. I recommend visiting the Chef Mickey’s menus to check out the current pricing to determine your approximate bill, then calculate for the 18% gratuity.

If you’re a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder or a Disney Vacation Club Member, there are currently discounts for your meal at Chef Mickey’s. In my experience, the Cast Member usually asks if you are using a dining plan or if there are any discounts when you’re first seated, but you can also remind them at the end of the meal.

I hope this helps, Jessica! I’m sure your kids will enjoy visiting with Mickey and his friends while watching the monorail travel through Disney’s Contemporary Resort. I visited Chef Mickey’s for breakfast last week, and there was a PhotoPass photographer near the exit with some special Magic Shots, so take some time to stop for photos after your meal. If you have any future questions, please come back and see us at planDisney!
