Hey there, Michelle!
I’m so
egg-cited to welcome you to planDisney! It sounds like you have a
springtime trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth
hopping your way very soon. With your visit just around the corner, you’re probably busy putting the finishing touches on all those last-minute plans before your big arrival. What a fun time! Your magical adventure will be here before you know it!
I completely understand your excitement about Easter happenings around the Disney Resorts…it’s such a fun time of year to visit! I actually have some great news to share. From March 9th through April 6th, Guests staying at select Disney Resorts can enjoy special seasonal offerings, including the beautiful chocolate Easter egg displays created by Disney’s incredibly talented Culinary Cast Members. These aren’t just simple treats, they’re truly works of art and so much fun to see in person.
You’ll find these stunning chocolate egg displays inside the main buildings of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. They’re usually set up in prominent spots like the lobby areas or near restaurants and shops, so they’re easy to find while you’re exploring.
If you’re hoping to enjoy some festive sweets while you’re there, many Disney Resorts will also be offering Easter-themed treats at their quick-service dining locations. These seasonal goodies will be available at several resorts across Walt Disney World, including Disney's All-Star Resorts, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (starting March 18th), Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Resort (starting March 18th), Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge, along with the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.
If you enjoy exploring the resorts, this is a really fun seasonal activity. Strolling through the lobbies to see the creative chocolate egg displays, and maybe grabbing a festive treat along the way, can add a little extra Easter magic to your Disney vacation.
If you’re looking to add a little extra springtime fun to your visit, I’d definitely recommend hopping over to EPCOT for the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. It’s such a beautiful time to explore the park, with colorful character topiaries, blooming gardens, and plenty of seasonal treats along the way.
While you’re there, be sure to check out the
Eggstravaganza Scavenger Hunt around World Showcase. It’s a really fun activity where you search for Disney character-themed eggs hidden throughout each pavilion. You can pick up a scavenger hunt map at select merchandise locations, then enjoy strolling around World Showcase while keeping an eye out for the eggs. Once you’ve found them all, you can turn in your completed map for a small prize.
I hope this helped as you get ready for your visit! Wishing you an
egg-stra magical trip filled with plenty of springtime fun. If any other questions pop up while you’re planning, you’re always welcome to bounce back over to planDisney.
Wishing you a basket full of Disney magic,
Kami
