Hi Graciela,
Welcome to planDisney! I love hearing the excitement in your words about your upcoming trip! You and your family are going to have a BLAST and I can't wait for all of your Disney dreams to come true during your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
Prior to June 15th, all Guests visiting
Disneyland Resort must be California residents. During the ticketing and theme park reservation process, you were asked to confirm your California residency, but I'd also encourage you to make sure you have your most up-to-date address on file on your
Disney account. Since you may be asked to show a valid ID at the gate but don't yet have a state-issued California ID, I'd think about what else you can bring to prove your residency. Whether you have a temporary ID, student ID, pay stub, bank statement, tax document, or utility bill, you'll want to bring a photo ID proving your identity (even if it's from Utah) as well as
something proving your California residency. Since children don't usually have any of these documents, you should be able to confirm their residency for them. Please understand at this point that Mickey Mouse is excited to see you, but Cast Members are simply doing their best to ensure that all Guests are following the
policies that have been put in place to keep everyone safe and healthy!
I hope this is helpful! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Graciela, and have a truly magical visit with your family!
Missy
