Hi Laura! We’re always delighted to help you plan your Disneyland adventures.
Taking a midday break during a Disney day can be a wonderful strategy, especially if you’re hoping to stay late and enjoy the nighttime magic. When my daughters were younger, stepping away for naps or a little quiet time wasn’t just for them. It gave my wife and me the energy to make it to the fireworks, too. Sometimes even a short reset makes the whole day feel smoother.
Now, onto your
parking question. The good news is yes! You can exit the Disneyland Resort parking lots and structures and return later the same day using the same parking pass. Whether you’ve parked in the Toy Story Lot, the Mickey & Friends structure, or the Pixar Pals structure, your single-day parking purchase allows you to come and go as needed. Just remember to keep your parking receipt handy, since you’ll need to show it when you re-enter.
If you’d like to plan ahead, Disneyland also offers parking vouchers for purchase online. Having one in advance can save you a little time at the toll booths. Simply show your voucher when you arrive, and you’ll be directed to the appropriate lot to begin your day.
Don’t forget the
Car Locator feature in the
Disneyland app. It automatically saves your parking location if Location Services, Bluetooth, and notifications are enabled, but you can also enter the information manually. After a long day of attractions, shows, and churros, not having to remember whether you were parked on Daisy or Donald level can feel like a little pixie-dusted miracle.
Wishing you and your family a magical visit filled with fun, rest, and plenty of Disney memories.
Have a wonderful trip,
David
